Panicked, Emily jumped into the shower, letting the warm water wash away the remnants of sleep. She quickly got dressed in the outfit she had laid out the night before, a comfortable pair of jeans and a cozy sweater. She brushed her teeth, washed her face, and rushed to the kitchen to grab her purse and keys.

"Made it," Emily said, collapsing into the chair across from her friend.

Finally, she made it out the door and into her car, feeling a sense of relief wash over her as she pulled into the coffee shop parking lot at 6:59 AM. She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Sarah already seated at a table outside, sipping on a latte.

As they finished up their coffee, Emily glanced at her watch and realized she had a 20-minute window before she had to head to work. She and Sarah decided to take a quick walk around the block to get some fresh air and stretch their legs.

As they walked, Sarah turned to Emily and said, "You know, I have a surprise for you today. Meet me at the park at 5 PM, and come alone."
